This educational 2-hour group class is designed for women who develope diabetes while pregnant. The course is recognized by the American Diabetes Association.Topics include: Defining the Disease, Nutrition and Meal Planning, Medications, Blood Glucose Monitoring, and Prevention of Gestational Diabetes related complications. As a participant you will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns and questions personally with a dietician. One support person may also attend.
